Dear Fitbit community,
I have had my versa for a few months now, but never had the problem I am facing now.
For the second day straight it is showing my hear rate way above 100, which never happened before for such prolong periods of time. Yesterday it recorded 694 active minutes and over 5000 calories burnt, when usually I burn around 2000 and have somewhat around 60 active minutes. To be honest, I spent most of the day at home and didn't even hit 10k steps, I had a drink the night before, so I was in a recovery mod.
Today it is doing the same thing, as I am typing it shows my heart rate over 154 and around 4k calories burnt.
I tried restarting it and it still overestimates my heart rate.
I am so confused whether it is a bug or I should be worried.
Thank you for you help.

Hi, try restarting your Versa several times by pressing the left and right lower buttons together untill the Fitbit Logo appears and release the buttons. You will have to do this restarting process directly after you have done the first one. Wait untill you see your Versa display again and repeat the procedure. If that does not solve your HR and calories problem, contact Customer Support about your problems, before advicing to do a Factory Reset. Advicing this means that your Versa is brought back to the settings which are set in the Factory. This means that after a Factory Reset, you have to do the setup of your Versa all over again as being a newly bought device. So before doing that, try the above suggestions first.

Sir you take a quick reading of your heart rate.
I prefer the artery in the neck.
To check your pulse at your wrist, place two fingers between the bone and the tendon over your radial artery — which is located on the thumb sideof your wrist. When you feel your pulse, count the number of beats in 15 seconds. Multiply this number by four to calculate your beats per minute.

Thank you very much for your suggestion.
I did a factory reset, and it did not solve my issue.
I realized that data recording for my heart bit is not being stored anymore and my sleep tracking only consists of asleep and awake time.
I am very frustrated with my versa.

I don’t know the answer - but I will let you know this is happening to me, too. My resting heart rate is typically 55-60, but today my Versa has been saying over 100-138 consistently. Tried resetting and same issue. Compared to my gym’s HR monitor, which read 55.

@Tamarushka since you have done a factory reset, have you re-setup your to your Fitbit account?

My Fitbit Versa was doing the exact same thing. It was severely messing up my data. I decided to finally return it and get my money back. I have now resorted back to the Charge 2, as it is the most accurate Fitbit I have ever had the privilege of wearing.
From my research, I have noticed that the Versa has caused many problems for a lot of people; Fitbit needs to recall the Versa and update it to the standards of the Charge 2.

As an addition to my friend's post: he forgot to mention after re-setup: your Versa. Hope it's clear now.

I re-linked the device after factory reset to the app, but I haven't done anything to the app per se.
