Heart Rate - a fault with the watch or my heart?

Hi,

When I look at my versa lite the heart rate changes constantly. It can change from 60 to 90 and back constantly up and down as I watch it. It is never steadily at the same number or even with 5 or so. I have seen it move as low as 52 and as high as 123 while I am sitting still. It literally changes by the second as I watch it even if I am perfectly still and calm. I have never seen it stay at the same number for more than a couple of seconds.

I know this isn't normal but I'm trying to work out if the watch has a fault or I need to see a doctor.

Does anyone else's versa lite do this?

My Versa2 has been like that for awhile.   I walk down the driveway and it shows my heartrate at 120. Thought I had a medical problem and had a treadmill test done and all was ok. Finally bought a Oxygen monitor to monitor blood oxygen and pulse.   The watch is definitely nuts.  Monitor shows pulse at 60 and watch says 95.  Makes me lose faith in Fitbit since I bought it for its heart monitor function.
