Heart Rate not changing and stays stuck

Noticed today that my heart rate never changed from 72.  Took a nice 45 minute walk this afternoon and my heart rate showed 72 the entire time.  This just started. Maybe I received a heart transplant from Lance Armstrong while I was sleeping last night.  My usual heart rate is around 110 - 120 during my walks.  Finished my walk and restarted my Versa.  Heart started showing 92 as I was cooling down.  This sounded normal.  The problem is it still says 92 even though I have been relaxing in my chair the last 90 minutes or so.

Hmmm, well the only other thing I can think of to suggest for you is trying a factory reset. If you go into your settings on your tracker, scroll down to About, and you'll find it under there. If that doesn't work, I would contact Fitbit Support directly to have a case opened for you. Good luck!

Hi, @DKJAX! I would suggest seeing if restarting your tracker a few times does the trick. That's definitely not normal behavior.

Thank you for the response. I have restarted my watch more times in the last three days than I have since I received the watch at Christmas.  Restarting the watch seems to correct the heart rate, but only temporarily.  It then goes to a particular heart rate and stays at the rate with no change.  It is now on 80 no matter what I am doing.

Did a factory reset Tuesday after speaking with Customer Support.  Seems to corrected several recent issues, including getting 15K steps while I slept, heart rate not changing ans sleep activity not tracking.  The jury is still out on sleep tracking since I only received abbreviated stats this morning.  I will see how it looks tomorrow.

Seems the factory reset corrected the stuck Heart Rate and walking 15K steps while sleeping.
