I have a versa and was swimming with it on and about an hour later the battery started to drain very quickly and now the heart monitor doesn’t work. With a full charge on the battery it only lasts about 4 hours. I had read that it was supposed to be able to go in water and I wasn’t in for more than 20 min. Not sure if I can get the battery or heart sensor replaced. If nothing can be done it kind of sucks because it’s only about a 2 years old and it would really be a shame For it to be junked.

I am having this exact same issue. I noticed the battery was draining faster and faster until now it only lasts a few hours. I noticed last week the heart monitor was not working all the time
My versa is literally only a year and a half old.

So is there anything that can be done to fix it or are we just screwed. I know if there isn’t I won’t be replacing it with another Fitbit. I’ll be going with an Apple Watch.

Apple was sued for intentionally slowing down older phones. Almost makes you wonder if that's what's going on here. Is Fitbit intentionally 'altering' the life of the Versa, and old devices?

Seeing as their answer for a 2 year old watch to suddenly stop working is to get me to buy a new one for 25% off, it really does make you wonder.
