If i turned the heart rate tracker notification off on my tracker, will my sleep tracking be off?? Seeing my heart rate kind of freaks me out so I turned rhat function off and my sleep has been saying I  sleep less then 4 hours a night which is crazy! Or do you think I am wearing to loose and low on my arm?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Kerryberry2228.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern on tracking sleep after you turned off your heart rate monitor. Thank you for providing the additional details, I totally understand how you are feeling. If you decided not to track your heart rate, you should see your sleep pattern in the Fitbit app. Your sleep pattern includes your time spent awake, restless, and asleep. You can see your sleep stages if you turn on your heart rate monitor.

Autodetection is based on your movement and I recommend doing the following:

  1. Please confirm that your sleep settings are normal and not sensitive: What is the difference between the normal and sensitive sleep setting in the Fitbit app?
  2. Try sleeping with the watch on your non-dominant hand if you haven't been doing it already
  3. Confirm that the watch is snug on your wrist.

It is possible to correct the sleep record from your dashboard by following the steps from this help article: How do I edit, or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app?

You can find more information about tracking sleep here

I'll be around if you need further assistance.
