Heart rate inaccurate reports

So I've had my versa for about a week and have had 5 workouts with it. First I'll start that it is showing a much different recording then my charge 2 did. It is a difference of about 30 bpm depending on what I'm doing. And the resting HR is 67 when charge 2 was 60. Also when I'm doing a workout it won't show the right heart rate unless I start an exercise recording. I was doing cardio for 10 min and it shows 120bpm which is crazy low, I turn on the record exercise and it shoots up to 160bpm. This can't be an intended feature...? Is my versa a lemon?

I reset my Versa (Special Edition, if it matters) a bunch of times and disconnected/reconnected from my phone (Pixel 3) and now it doesn't lose sync and the heart rate stays on for the most part. So, this is good.

But, the heart rate tracking is highly suspicious. Yesterday I went for a hike/run and my max HR clocked at 144 bpm. This is running uphill for a few hundred meters -- actually for most of the running part, it was in the 120s bpm, even though I would be out of breath. Then, on the way down FitBit tracks 110-120 (a brisk walking pace).

The previous day, on the same trail, it had my max bpm at close to 180, in the same segments. Yet my average pace was actually slower and my time was about 2 minutes slower. Go figure, eh...?

i’ve just got my new Versa and i got exact same problem with u. I’m very fine with my charge 2 but with versa my exercise heart rate go up to 180 bpm.

i try to contact fitbit support, they told me to restart but problem still the same.

can u help share me how did u solve yr problem?

my hr shown at rest 114 -130 but is 54 normal on BP and finger tester? Crazy wrong should be corrected too far off.  10 point I could live with but double is sick product

I am having the same problem. I used to have an accurate fitbit HR . I have had the versa for a week and my HR stats are all over the place and very inaccurate. I will probably return FB versa 2 this week if it can,t be resolved.
