Heart rate monitor inoperable

Either it isn't searching, or it's constantly red, or giving extremely high reading (161bpm when sat down)

 

Tried resetting, reinstalling the app and factory reset on the versa and still same issues. 

 

Please help

I got my Versa on Sunday, and the heart rate monitor was working great.  It put my resting rate in the 65-78 range depending on the circumstance.  As of yesterday morning, it won't stop reading very high.  I'm sitting at my desk, and it says my rate is currently 115 in the fat burning zone.  I manually checked, and my actual rate is in the high 70's.
