I use Fitbit for weight loss , but lately it either doesn’t read my heart rate at all or reads it as extremely high for a long time . This is affecting all aspects ; sleep( not reading my HR enough to track ) calories, exercise time etc.
i have tried adjusting on my wrist , size, cleaning the back, turning off and on again .
Now, it’s started getting stuck on steps, not reading them at all . I’m so frustrated !
It’s a year old in May and I have an Apple phone .

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Ekbloom. I am sorry for the delayed response.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the details of the issue you're experiencing with your heart rate monitor and step tracking. I am sorry to hear you are going through this situation, I totally understand how you are feeling you would like to continue using your watch and working on your goals. I understand that your heart rate data affects your other stats and appreciate your efforts to resolve this issue. You can confirm the complete troubleshooting steps in this help article: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? You can double check the tips to improve the accuracy of heart rate tracking here.
Regarding the issue with steps, sometimes, when you start walking, your steps may not update on your device right away. After about 10-15 continuous steps, you'll notice the steps catch up and start updating in real time with each step you take. For more information about the accuracy of the Fitbit devices, please see here.
If the issues persist, I recommend doing a factory reset. Please note that you'll need to reinstall any apps on your device after the reset, and if you couldn’t sync your device, then any data on the Fitbit device will be lost. In order to do the factory reset, please follow the steps from this help article: How do I erase my Fitbit device?
Please keep me posted.
