I recently went to get my blood pressure checked and as it also measures heart rate I figured that I should check how accurate my Fitbit is. My heart rate that showed up on the blood pressure machine was 66 but my Fitbit showed 89, is there a reason it’s so much higher?? I keep the sensor clean and wipe the inside every day to remove oil and dirt, etc. It also consistently shows my heart rate being well over 120 bpm when I’m just up and I walking around the house which I now suspect is wrong

Maybe it's just that your fitbit isn't accurate and it needs replacing.
