Heart rate on app and watch aren't the same

When I exercise I watch my heart rate on my phone (to try to keep it in a specific range). I've noticed recently that what my app says my heart rate is and what my Versa says my heart rate is are completely different.

I understand that it takes a couple seconds to get to the app, so the heart rate could be off a little, but it's off like 10-12 beats (Versa is always lower), and those readings never show up on the app. Sometimes they seem to sync up, but then a couple minutes later are totally different again.

How is this even possible?

I did not have this problem before I got a Versa (previously had a Charge).

@annewq it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the heart rate readings are not the same on the Fitbit app.

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your Versa internally. After this, make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version. If the app is up to date, try logging out of your Fitbit account, restart your phone, open the app again and log in.

Finally, test the heart rate readings and see if the Fitbit app shows the same information as your Versa itself.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

I've just restarted everything for the third time. It seems like the instructions below work, for a couple days, then it's out of sync again. I have the most current app.

Is there anything else I can do? I'm ready to ditch this Versa (which I otherwise like very much) and go back to my old Charge.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
