Heart rate readings on Versa are too high.

Suddenly yesterday, my versa started reading my HR around double what it actually is. After reading threads on here, I've tried the following:

-restarting Fitbit

-turning off HR, restarting Fitbit, syncing, turning HR back on (which works for a few minutes)

-changing non-dominant/dominant setting

-ensuring clean Fitbit

-trying different wrist placements and band tightnesses

.... And nothing has fixed it... So Fitbit, what do I do?

Version 32.33.1.30

Hello @Gazebra I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums, for sharing your experience and for letting us know with detail the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to perform a factory reset on your Versa. Keep in mind that a factory reset will remove apps, stored data, personal information, credit and debit cards (for Fitbit Pay-enabled devices), and saved settings, so please sync your Versa before proceeding.

To factory reset your device:

On your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset

Then, you will need to set up your Versa as a new device:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
  5. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, give these steps a try and let us know the outcome.
