The heart rate sensor won't turn off and not sensing, hence shortening the battery life to about 6-8 hours. It's really annoying 😡

Hi, restart your Versa 4-6 times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see after each restart the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. This procedure resets the internal system of your Versa. Hope this solves your problem.
BTW, are you also not able to switch it of manually? Go to settings on your Versa, press it and go to HR and disable it.
