Heart rate showing different readings on exercise chart

During exercise my HR got to 179 as fitbit showed in the app. When checking daily HR in the app (after exercise had been completed) it showed a max of 166 during that time.

This is a reoccurring thing. Surly my daily heart rate chart should show the same numbers during the exercise period??

Can anybody explain this??

@Chrissims it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your heart rate readings since they're showing different on your Fitbit app after your exercise.

Please make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version. If the app is up to date, try logging out of the app, restart your phone, open the app and log in. After this, monitor your heart rate readings on the graph and see if the issue gets fixed.

In the meantime, please provide a screenshot of the page that show the wrong information.

Looking forward to your response! 😀

The new app is installed and is buggy. Firstly it's always searching for device for ages. Secondly it loads most of the data but one of them will not show, eg. Sleep. Until you close app and reopen.
As you can see on the graphs heart rate during exercise is higher than has been recorded on the daily hr chart.
Also my resting heart rate is up and down from 62-67 reoccurring week to week. Yet when I check it in the morning with S health it is a steady 60-61.
