Heart rate too high on Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just bought a FitBit Versa yesterday & the heart rate is way too high! My resting heart rate is actually between 69 & 74 bpm (that’s what it always on my other FitBit & that’s what it just showed on my husbands) but Versa is showing a resting heart rate of between 125 & 130bpm. I turned the heart rate off & on again & it was ok for about half an hour & now it’s back to 125bpm! Has anyone had the same sort of issue??

@KimmyMac1234 I'm sorry for the late response. However, I'd like to welcome you to our Fitbit Community. By the way, I appreciate the workaround you tried in order to fix the accuracy issue that your Versa is experiencing with the heart rate feature.

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, follow the details listed above:

  • Make sure your device is positioned correctly on your wrist:
  • Tighten the band just enough so it doesn’t slip on your wrist. Your device needs a solid contact with your arm to reliably track your heart rate.
  • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. Move the band to a slightly different position on your arm—a little higher or a little lower.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy
