Heart rate tracking too high

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa has gotten stuck on a high number and seems to think my heart rate is constantly in the cardio zone - even when I am sleeping. I have tried all the suggestions in the community such as resetting, restarting and syncing etc. I have even had a live chat with fitbit who tried to fix it but are now telling me there is a big with the software; has anyone else heard of this bug? I feel like I'm being fobbed off.

Thanks

Gill

Might be a good time for members to know which people posting on the forums are Moderators or Fitbit Employees.  click to learn how

There are also Fitbit Community Council members, but they are not employees of Fitbit, merely members, like everyone else, who keep track of their steps.  click to learn more about CC

The moderators are also not the developers and at best can only press on what they have been made aware of.

Hi, I have the same issue with the heartrate and they are also saying they won't replace it.  I am continuing to call them until their software issue is resolved.  If they will not replace it I will be posting a bad review on their website for the Fitbit Versa Lite.  I am glad there are a lot of people including yourself that are writing their dismay about the Fitbit.

Good luck with it. My Fitbit at that time happened to die abs they replaced it then, unfortunately the replacement only lasted 6 days before also giving up. I’m now on my third! Fingers crossed this one lasts.

@AD1971 if I follow your link I see that you did a restart which is what the second post above suggested.

I did not bother suggesting this step because it was already mentioned and knew that you all had tried this.

@Rich_Laue can't hurt to reiterate. Most people don't read every post.

That’s a pretty useless response from Fitbit (the Moderator). It’s not as if this is a cheap watch. I’m having the same problems and not only does it read my heart rate too high all day, my battery isn’t lasting more than 4 to 5 hours. And yes, I’ve shut off every notification, quick look, all day sync, etc. Reset to factory setting 4 times now. It worked fine for 2 months and tested against my polar heart rate monitor was accurate (except for interval training). Now, it’s useless and this is what they tell people? They are working on it? Ridiculous. There’s enough unhappy people on this forum with this same problem that Fitbit should have a better solution. People have been posting about it since 2018.
