Heart rate when not wearing my Versa

Hi,  I’ve recently noticed my Versa is showing a heart rate when I pick it up to put it on.  I also noticed the heart rate being monitored in the app at times I haven’t been wearing it.  This is my 2nd Versa, it was replaced in April 2019 after having issues with the original.

I regret to hear that your Fitbit Versa is showing heart rate readings when not in use. Thanks for the information provided. Please be aware when you take your watch off wrist, the green light will continue flashing, even if the heart rate function is turned off. This is an expected behavior. However, there shouldn't be any readings on your Fitbit account during this time.

 

I would recommend performing a restart to your Versa by following these steps. In addition to this, please turn the heart rate off and back on. You can find this option if you go to your watch > Settings > Heart rate.
