Heartbeat not registering on Versa

My Versa stopping reading heart rate a week ago. Did the reboot couple times, lights on back do not restart.   Was going to let the battery die and try again. During the time it stopped reading steps until a sudden surge about 10 hours later then adds steps for the last 20-24 hours.  Original versa purchased October 2018, had to be replaced because it stopped working in March.  No issues until a week ago.   My husband got same one, same time and not a single problem.  Any suggestions to try or who to contact to see if still under warranty.   Help appreciated.

@TinkT, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Versa not registering heart rate and steps. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device. The restart should also help with the step detection.

Let me know how it goes.

Sorry but this didn’t help. I don’t think it is dirty because the lights on the back do not register or are not on. It has also stopped sensing steps until one large surge. Yesterday it showed that I had 203,009 steps because once the steps started showing it wouldn’t stop. I usually have around 7-10k steps a day. Not 34 miles of steps.
