Since July I wear the versa on my left and the charge 2 on my right hand. Versa heartrate very often is up to 35% higher than what Charge2 measures.
I also measured the heartrate by hand with my watch and must say most of the time Charge2 is right.
- There is no difference if the activity is auto dedected or manually started
- There is no difference if I tighten up the strap. Of course if one weares it too loose it wont work
- Even if I wait until both show about the same value, versa often shows 5-10 beats more
As I wear them in parallel it would be a very good example for the Fitbit engineers to compare both.
Dear Mods / Fitbit devs / support ... Please analyse the following accounts !
Charge2: gggg2@wolke7.net
Versa: ff0@vollbio.de
I also posted some examples here:
Heart rate readings too high in Fitbit Versa
steps during cycling exercise and heartrate difference compared to charge2
If you are analysing the heartrate prob please also look into the prob that the versa very offten (like 20th-22nd Aug.) does not dedect my outdoor cycling (it seems related to how versa interprets bumps). The Charge 2 does !
cycling less than 20 minutes not recognised or detected as sport

Hello @5ggggg
Very good find. Hoping the developers see this and can make an adjustment on there next firmware download.
I know this is not a really expensive medical device, but yours sounds like it's off quite a bit from the actual.

Fitbit does not seem to have any interest in investigating this problem ...
