I keep getting "answers" to a question that I've long ago resolved, but I keep getting emails with possible answers.....   I've tried and tried to delete the original post with no luck... and now, this one.   Any help would be appreciated.

Click on your photo at the top right of the page, then "My subscriptions" from the menu that pops out.
