High heart rate and calorie burn

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

my calorie burn has been relatively accurate in the last year but the last few days it has jumped about 1500 calories more than usual and my heart rate has been through the roof all day long. Ive reset it and turned things on and off but it doesn't seem to help. Im just not sure why it started to do this. I am waking up to 1000 calories burned instead of 400 and my bpm is at a constant 170-190...

It’s the same with my versa as well. I’ve contacted customer service 3 times in 2 weeks almost. Earlier today, I requested to know if it this is my versa only or a versa bug. They informed me “The issue that you have notice is a bug. We’re aware of this issue, but may not be able to provide a fix in the near future. We'll continue to monitor the situation and keep our team informed of its impact.“

This issue has been reported since 2018 and still no fix. I started having issues with this in September of 2019, 1 year and 1.5 months after I bought the watch and very disappointed at customer service. After trying all the troubleshooting, they just told me there was nothing they could do other than just wait and keep syncing my watch once in a while to see if they had fixed it. I also asked if there was a timeframe for me to expect a fix and they said there did not have one that they are monitoring the issue but no fix yet. No offer of replacing the item or even a discount to purchase anther item.

I just made a post about the same thing before I saw your post.

The other day my versa registered that I burned 7,000 calories on a rather sedentary day and my heart rate has been at "peak" all day long when in reality my HR is much lower.

Yup. They said the same to me. I asked if this is a known bug, why has it not been a recall or provide replacements. Mine worked for 1.5 years. I just hope they will fix it or I’m going to have to purchase another watch. Fitbit versa was my first watch and I love it! I just didn’t expect this so soon.

”Thank you for getting back to us and for sharing your feedback with us. We can see where you're coming from and this is definitely not the experience we want you to have. Please be advised that a replacement won't resolve the issue. However, our team is working hard to get things back to how it was (in terms of HR tracking). With regard your question, we don't have any specific details to share yet about having recalling Versa. In the meantime, we recommend keeping your watch and Fitbit app updated. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to assist you in the meantime.“
