My versa is 8 months old. About 10 days ago it stopped recognizing sleep and started showing an obscene heart rate burning >4500 calories a day.  Has anyone else dealt with this?  What’s the fix?  I have restarted a million times to see if it would reset

Thanks so much for taking the time to troubleshoot the issue you're experiencing with your Fitbit Versa showing high heart rate and calories. As with all heart-rate tracking technology, accuracy is affected by the personal physiology, location of wear, and type of movement and you can find more information about it in this help article: How do I improve the accuracy of my heart-rate reading?

I'm having the same issue along with battery drain.  Last night I was on chat with Rose to trouble shoot things and restart my fitbit and go over points.  Well, battery went from 100% last night at 7:30 PM and now is at 58% as of 6:28 AM and my heartrate and calories burned are nuts!  I looked at yesterdays and it was nuts and I didn't do any work outs!  As of this morning it said I've already had a 50 Minute work out and my heartrate over 120 and then it goes to no heartrate.  According to it...I should be dead.  I don't know what to make of this and I bought my fitbit last October off of QVC when it was the TSV of the day. I guess today i'll have to get back on chat and hash this over again.  Least I have a case number...but this is so frustrating!
