For over a week now my Fitbit versa shows extremely high heart rate even at rest and sleeping. Because of it, it can’t read my sleep cycle right anymore. I have done every possible reset there is, even a factory reset. Yesterday I connected my charge 3 just to see and it works fine. I rather use the versa. I have chatted with the help desk and called yesterday and all I got is we are working on the problem at the end. No estimated time or date when it’s fixed. This morning I reinstalled my versa audit had a long update and I thought this must be the fix. Wrong! Anyone else having this issue? Getting really frustrated.

@Tinabc023 Can you please post some screenshots of your HR recordings? For now, please go to Settings app on your Versa (swiping left), tap it and scroll down to heart rate. Please toggle it ON and OFF with a reboot of versa in between. You can reboot your tracker by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes.

@Tinabc023 This is crazy, but I meant all-day recording from your Fitbit mobile app. Have you tried the tips I mentioned above? If those don't work, you might have to perform a factory reset (restoring your tracker to factory defaults)? This will wipe your Versa, so please sync first. You will also need to delete your tracker from your Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings. You can perform factory reset by going to Settings on your Versa, scrolling down to About and tapping Factory Reset. Once Versa resets to factory defaults, you will need to set it up again by adding it as a replacement device in the Fitbit mobile app. Good luck!

I have tried the factory reset three times already. I even while reinstalled my charge 3 to see and the heart rate and sleep tracker was just fine with it. When I installed the charge 3 it completely throws the Versa out. So you have to reinstall it anyway. So it’s been done several times recently plus factory reset. Here is also a screen shot for Monday and it’s every day like this.

@Tinabc023 Agreed. This is not normal. I am flagging your post for Customer Support assistance as you might need a replacement device. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. 😞

Thank you so much. Like I said earlier, I chatted with one person in support then called yesterday and all I got back is that they are working on a solution, which is not ok for me at all.

@Tinabc023 No. Agreed. I flagged the post, but I would highly recommend escalating it requesting a replacement. Obviously this does not happen with all trackers. Just keep pushing.

Just called again and got the same answer. Was put on hold while the tech got in touch with the team that is working on the problem. From what he was saying, I’m not the only one. They are working on a solution and let me know.

I Have the same problem!!
I have a problem with the display of the heartbeat !. I have reset Fitbit several times and that heart rate is displayed correctly, but after about 15 minutes it displays approximately twice as much. Even after resetting the factory settings, it goes wrong again after about 15 minutes !!. What can I do about this?

Call and keep complaining so it gets resolved. This needs to be fixed. It affects also your sleep tracker. Check yours, I’m sure it’s back to the basic one and hardly shows that you slept. I have reset mine numeral times and just like yours it goes back to the same problem. Very frustrating, I know.

My sleep sensor is also not working properly. Registration is "simple". Good to hear that more people experience this problem.

Looks similar to mine. I often have a heart rate of over 174 and that’s at rest. It much under 100. I checked my blood pressure with my blood pressure machine and everything is in normal range.
