I was very excited about getting my versa 2. I wanted a no frills smart watch with great battery and very good fitness tracking. I set it up last night, wore it and went to bed -
1.) I woke up this morning and saw that I already logged close to 500 steps while sleeping. It was on my wrist and there was nothing on the bed stand to cause vibrations.
2.) I took the dog out for a walk and noticed that when I got back, it added close to another 400 steps...not even close to accurate.
3.) I restarted the watch based on an article I read online.
4.) I drove in to work and it added another 200 steps. Thankfully, it does not seem to add steps when I sit. However, every time I walk, it adds many more steps than I actually walk.
Right now, it is so inaccurate, that it really does not help with tracking my activity at all. Should I just return it? From reading on the forum, this seems to be a persistent issue with no real solutions.
I used my wife's Apple watch before and it is much more accurate than this. I don't need an expensive smart watch but I do want something that is accurate.
Thanks.
