Honestly, is the versa worth buying?

I've been thinking about getting a smartwatch and have came down to two, the Fitbit versa and the Garmin vivomove hr. I've decided to buy a smartwatch to help me become motivated into having an active life. I've seen many issues with the versa, but I just love how it looks. I have had an Alta, but due to an update it doesn't connect to my phone anymore. I have a blaze right now, and would like to upgrade. As I am a beginner for the fitness world, what are your opinions?

I love my versa and haven't had any of the problems described in the forums. I have had to do a hard reset once, but that's the only issue I've had. It may just come down to the luck of the draw, but I'm happy with my purchase. I jumped in the pool as soon as I got the watch to see if it had a bad seal. It worked like a charm. I'm not trying to minimize the real problems people have had, but for me it's been a good watch and I can't wait for them to upgrade it with larger cases and GPS in future editions.

That's just what I was thinking, it all depends with luck. I'm just afraid I might get a defective one, on the first buy.

The best suggestion I can give you is to buy it locally so you do not have to wait weeks for Fitbit to replace it.  Bestbuy will trade out a broken one on the spot, no waiting.

The ionic is the next version of the Blaze. and it is the hottest fastest selling Fitbit model of any model that Fitbit has made .

If there was an inherent problem it would be why be talked about both here and on the general Web.

Instead I find the reviews very positive. With a few gripes about no built in gps.
