Upgraded to a Versa 3 so I wouldn't need my phone... loaded the C25K to it which is great, anyone know how to hear the prompts while listening to Deezer? Looking at my watch while running is not easy and I do not always feel the vibration when running. I also am wondering if the GPS feature to track where I go can also run. I can get two at a time to work but not all 3. I have seen a few suggestions to use the C25k phone app instead of on the Fitbit... that defeats the purpose of the upgrade to GPS.

Hi @ML315 - normally you can run an app or a clock face only but not both. Either can provide different functions internally depending how they are designed.
However there a few system functions that can run independently of whatever clock or app is running.
Such as, music controls, voice assistant, Quick Settings, and once timers or alarms are set they will work in background too.

Hi, @ML315 , like others I would definitely download the C25k app to your phone, assuming that you run with your phone. I think the phone app version will interrupt your music in order to give you prompts, and I definitely find they are easier to hear than just feeling the vibration from your Fitbit.
But your GPS will still be useful! Before you begin your C25k session, open the exercise app on your Versa 3, swipe to Run, make sure the GPS is turned on, and start. Also start the C25k app on your phone, and off you go! Until the very end the program is based on time rather than distance. The voice prompts from your phone app will tell you when to walk and when to run, and your Fitbit will tell you how far you went. It’s a great combination!
You can always check your watch as you go, to see your pace, etc, but you might be too busy concentrating on your walk/run.
When you are done, don’t forget to stop your Fitbit tracked exercise. Later you can sync it to the Fitbit app and see the map, your pace and other stats for your run. This way you can follow your improvement as you progress through the program.

@Julia_G Maybe you missed "Upgraded to a Versa 3 so I wouldn't need my phone.." As well as, "I have seen a few suggestions to use the C25k phone app instead of on the Fitbit... that defeats the purpose of the upgrade to GPS." ?

Hi, @TommyIzzo , yes, I did miss that bit about not wanting the phone - apologies!
But if @ML315 did take their phone it does not make the GPS useless. In my experience the built in GPS on Fitbit works much more reliably than the connected GPS on the phone, and in my view - though it is, of course, only my view - the phone giving you voice cues of when to walk and when to run, and the Versa giving you details of pace and distance, including a map, is a great way to complete the program. Especially as, like @ML315 , I found when I was running and doing the C25k I often missed the wrist vibrations, and I found it distracting to have to focus so hard on them and checking my watch in case I missed them. Having the voice cues from the phone app helped me get in the zone.
Also wouldn’t they need the phone anyway if they want to use Deezer? The Versa 3 does not allow downloading music, only to control it. I guess that is why I missed the no phone.
