Hi, if your watch is syncing fine for all the other elements it could just be a glitch in the Fitbit App.
In which case try refreshing the App as follows
In Android phone Settings * Apps Fitbit Storage - clear cache [not data] Force Fitbit Stop [though it doesn't seem to fully] Log back in to the Fitbit app
*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones] |
Or for IOS uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, and redo all notification, App notifications and any special setups. |

Does this work? I don't want to lose my data but if it works I'll try it.

Your data in the Fitbit App is already loaded on the Fitbit servers, so nothing already shown will be lost.
Presumably the rest of the syncing with the watch is fine in which case that's also been copied from the watch as of the last sync.
If you are really interested in seeing your hourly step history for the day, it can be done on the watch, try SimpleClockPro from the gallery.
