How are you supposed to wash your hands if you are wearing a Fitbit Versa 2?

How are you supposed to wash your hands if you are wearing a Fitbit Versa 2 since you have to use soap to wash your hands?

Hi @ahawkua  with my various Fitbits, I've just pushed it slightly higher up the wrist and washed as usual. I am a bit more cautious with getting soap and water on it, but it wipes away easily enough when I dry my hands.

When I'm washing my hands if I got soap on my Fitbit Versa 2 would it damage the device, even if I just wiped or rinsed it off and then dried my hands, and if this were to happen occasionally since I wash my hands often?

@ahawkua  I'm forever getting water and/or soap (hand, kitchen or dishwasher soap) on mine and I just wipe it off and haven't had any problems. If this is an issue for you, pocket the Fitbit while you're washing up or cooking.
