How can I change my Today's stats?

I want to change the today stats tiles on my Versa, all of the help articles state the tiles should include steps, moves per hour, activity/exercises for the past 7 days etc. Mine only states steps and female health which I really want to change!

A warm welcome to the Community @AbbieTres.

Regarding your inquiry, there isn't an option to customize your Today's stats. You can check the Let Us Customize FitBit today display options request, vote for it and leave your comment. Now if you want to see your others stats, you just to swipe, please see the attached image to know in which ones you can swipe.

As for seeing exercise sessions on "Today", it seems it does not include auto-recognized exercise sessions.  If all your recent exercise has been via SmartTrack auto-recignition, there will not be an exercise display under "today".  I don't know why this is - it seems like a programming oversight to me.

If you record an exercise session using MultiSport mode, manually starting and stopping it from the "exercise" icon on the tracker, then I expect you will get an exercise display under 'Today'.

There has to be some way of changing the order as they have changed on my Versa watch.  Originally they came up with steps first, heart, steps per hour, female health.  Now I get female health first and steps last.  This wasn't a change I made deliberately and I want to set it back to how it was to start with?

Best Answer

You can change the order.  press and hold the row to move it up or down (so female health can be moved to the bottom)

Hi everyone,

I fully understand and am completely aware the order of the tiles can be changed, that wasn’t what I asked.

I want to remove certain tiles, which I’ve been told is not possible. Greeeeeat. 😒

Besides removing some tiles, I understood you also thought you were were missing some data displays.  Has that part of it been resolved?

Thanks for your reply.

After using my Fitbit for exercise I then had the corresponding tile. Moves per hour etc. Aren’t visible. I believe this may be due to the fact times can’t be changed. It’s unfortunate, annoying and a relatively simple fix surely?! 🤔

I'm not sure if this is your issue, but besides the up/down swipe, on several of the screens, the ones with a dot on the bottom, you can swipe left to see more related info.  For example, on the screen that shows total steps today, left swipe shows distance and stairs, and another left swipe shows calories and active minutes.

On the display for steps per hour, before you hit 250 steps in an hour, it shows the number of steps so far that hour.  Swipe left shows the number of hours that day you have hit 250.  After you reach 250 steps in an hour, the steps that hours goes away and there is only the number of hours in the day hitting 250.  Not sure but I expect the same for hours that are not within your set hours range.

Could you please include screen shots of your Versa so we can see what you're missing and what you're looking at?  This would greatly help.

Thanks!

I don't have my Versa with me, but it looks like you're missing the sleep tile and exercise tile.  Like another poster said, the exercises on the exercise tile only appear if you start the workout from your Versa, not the auto-recognized exercises.

And no steps per hour... very weird.  Have you enabled the Reminders to Move feature?  I wonder if it's off and that's why you don't have the tile.

No I have the ‘move’ notification turned off, so perhaps you’re right and that’s the reason.

As for the sleep tile, I’m doing plenty of snoozing so that can’t be it! 😜

There is no sleep display on the Versa Today section, and if you don't have reminder to move turned on, that display makes no sense.   I think you have everything.

Turn on the Reminders to Move if you want that display.

And if you want to see exercise sessions, be sure to start them from your tracker and don't rely on auto-recognition.

Yep, you're right!  There's no sleep on the today section for the Versa.  My Charge 3 shows TONS of stuff in it's version of the today section.  Wonder why Fitbit doesn't allow the metrics in the today sections to be the same stuff across devices.  Strange!

Just to reiterate my original point:

what is/isn’t included in the tiles isn’t my query, the fact of the matter is they cannot be removed, e.g. I don’t want a tile stating female health (which is consistently incorrect no matter how many manual edits I make).

If you remove the female health tracking tile from your app, it should disappear from the today view.  At least that would make the most sense.

@Heather-S  Previously, if one removed the Female Health from the Fitbit app screen it also disappeared from the Today screen on the Versa.  However, after one of the latest app updates that doesn't work anymore.  My Female Health tile is deleted (hidden) on my phone app but appears on my watch.  I'm post-menopausal and yet I can't tell the Fitbit app this information.  So, my Versa loves to tell me I'm getting my cycle.  Fitbit should talk to my Gynecologist!  BTW, I'm on firmware 32.10.15 and app version 2.83

Feel free to share your suggestion with your friends and family to add more votes and comments, this is the best way to make your voice heard and get the attention from our development team.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
