How can I find out when I added/activated my Versa 3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Over the past few days, my versa 3 started acting up – the screen was going crazy. I spoke with customer service a few times and they had me attempt a few different fixes. Ultimately, the screen went permanently black, and the watch died (while I was charging it). Fitbit is saying it is out of warranty, but I would like to see when I actually added/activated it so that I know when I purchased it (because it would have been virtually the same day). But I don’t have access to the watch itself because it’s dead. Anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance!

@JFackler10   I'm sorry, but you can't find that information if the device is dead.  The activation date is in the Settings app on the device.  Here is some information to help you narrow things down.  The Versa 3 was released in September 2020.  The Versa 4 was released in Sept 2024.  Did you buy it when it was a new device or after the Versa 4 release?  Can you search your credit card history?

Thank you for the reply. That’s incredibly frustrating that they there’s no way to access the information without the watch. It’s almost like they don’t want their customers to know the information so that they can screw them out of a replacement. Sorry to say it, but that’s how I’m feeling right now. It probably would’ve been 2022 when I bought it. But digging through credit card info would be a nightmare. I’ll see what I can do. Thanks!

@JFackler10   This thought crossed my mind.  If Fitbit says your device is out of warranty, then they must know the activation date.  Can Fitbit give you the date?
