I’ve got my Versa less than 3 weeks ago. It’s working fine but the screen is broken 2 days ago by accident that caused injury as well. I called the Fitbit support and they told me the warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents, which totally understandable. But there is no repair store or anywhere I could replace the screen. It’s ridiculous!
Now how can I repair my watch? There should be a process for this kind of situation. What can I do now?

I just got off the phone with customer service as well and was told the same thing. The answers are robotic and unless you have purchased the extended warranty they are no help at all. I had my watch for three months and accidentally tapped it on the faucet as I was washing my hands and the screen shattered. All they told me was that their engineers are working tirelessly to make a durable product. Not very.

After years of being loyal to this brand and at least 6 of their products I am done. I am going to have to find another company that provides the same services with better customer service.

I am greatly disappointed in Fitbit for the lack "standing behind their product " not even an option for repair. $200 is a lot $$ to just throw down the drain. And NONE of these cust. Service repa or supervisors understand that.
I am.very disappointed.

Hundreds of complaints about the same issue stemming from years ago and yet not 1 solution as of 8/5/19. Shame on Fitbit and shame on us loyal customers (me 🙋🏾:female_sign:) who keep buying the products with a piss poor warranty.

A rep just told me.ONLY A SMALL PERCENTAGE of their customers are having damaged screen issues. I'm no business owner but I am saying even 1% of complaints of my business is a problem for me.
But from reading these 11 pages of complaints about THE SAME ISSUE u would think they'd have a solution by now. But nope they do not care. #NextCustomerPlease

I had my versa fir a week and the screen crackeda all they offered me was 25% off my next purchase. I wad not happy with this because I had just order some new watch bands. I totally loved fitbit until this. Now m thinking we should all go to Garmins. Maybe they will be much better....

I sent emails commented on post complained in the community groups etc..
I finally got a personal email to either replace my device without a warranty being avalibale or a 50% off option.
I feel like the screen protector option should be recommended when purchasing the device if they know how sensitive/poorly made the screen is.
The options left for the consumer to waiver between is ridiculous. Definitely going with another brand from this point on

I totally agree. Its sad that with all the business and love people have for Fitbit they are going to let this torn people away. Social Media can really ruin them...

I am also so disapointed that I can not get my screen replaced , I fell over and the screen smashed and although the watch still works it is difficult to see and couldnt get it wet as tiny glass fragments have fallen out.
If I had known that the glass screen was not able to be replaced I may have given more consideration to Apple or samsung.
Because I can't get the glass replaced I need to buy a new device which is so annoying because my fitbit Aria 2 is linked and it was all just working so well and I loved all the tracking features and the app.
FitBit need to be transparent about the built in obsolescence of their products.
Annoyed and really disappointed.

I just tweeted the same thing! I’m going to get an Apple Watch instead. Total waste of money

The same thing happened to me! I was swimming and bumped my watch on the edge of the pool and it cracked the screen. I called and they offered me a discount to buy another watch! There’s no where to fix the watch and they won’t do anything to fix their fragile product that breaks during “normal wear”. It’s absolutely ridiculous!

I found 2 places that could fix it but the cost is $119
Might as well buy a whole new watch (different brand of course).

I really wish I would have read this thread before purchasing my versa. I loved my watch. After 45 days the band became detached from the tracker. It dropped. It cracked, and they want to give me 40% off for a new one. It is a fitness watch. It should be more durable. Fitbit, you have lost a customer. Well done.
