I’ve got my Versa less than 3 weeks ago. It’s working fine but the screen is broken 2 days ago by accident that caused injury as well. I called the Fitbit support and they told me the warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents, which totally understandable. But there is no repair store or anywhere I could replace the screen. It’s ridiculous!
Now how can I repair my watch? There should be a process for this kind of situation. What can I do now?

The exact thing happened to me as well. I am so upset, I’ve only had it for a couple months.

Correct. Fitbit refuses to replace and there are no repair shops in existence. Had mine for 2 months and it’s broken. Nothing to do but throw in garbage. No longnwe water proof (reason for purchase). This is my third Fitbit and will not being buying another.

I was an Apple user but with majority of mt family and friends using fitbit, i decided to the ionic and what a machine that was. I play Football (Soccer) 5-6 times a week and I never had issues with my ionic. I bought the versa as an upgrade as it is much smaller and sleeker than the ionic, However i played one game! One game! with the versa and the screen cracked! I later kept using the versa and went to Spain on a family holiday. Come back home and the watch one register a clock face and keeps turning off! I have contacted fitbit and they have advised me to reset and start again, Done that 5x and the watch still doesn't work. So I am now waiting to hear back....
THIS WATCH IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! THIS IS NOT A SMART/FITNESS TRACKER! ITS A PIECE OF **ahem**!

How crazy is that it’s a fitness watch that isn’t fit for the purpose !!!! I was just putting mine on and bam it fell and the screen cracked! It’s still working but still not a very nice scene !!!
I wish I never bought it! I’ve had it for 2 months only! 😞
sorry about your versa!

Hi
just wondered if you had gone ahead with purchasing one of those protective covers yet. If you have, how did it go? Can you still work the screen as usual? Was it easy to put onto the Versa? Did you have to remove the straps for the process and are you really able to just put the watch into its charging station with the cover on?
I hope it went well as it may be the best option to protect the Versa for those who haven’t yet cracked their screens.
Cheers
Toni

i had the same thing happen to my first one [had it for 2 weeks] and then i got it replaced - i got the 2nd one + a rubber case [which suck] + a screen protector --- in the span of 1 week .... again the screen went to crap ... i can't believe in all of my years using FitBit and having had used 4 types of watches this one has been such an issue. And customer support was not help. ... NEVER BUYING A FITBIT ever again - going to APPLE.

I will never buy another Fitbit! I purchased this product through my employer's get fit program. The screen was damaged in less than 5 days after I received it while working. I had no idea how fragile a product advertised for physical activity would be! There were no labels stating fragile easily broken etc. I called Fitbit and while describing the problem to the "manager". I could hear her giggling in the background. I was told they could not replace it and there are no repair shops etc. I was really upset and disappointed. I did not even complete the setup of the watch. I am escalating this to my HR dept in at a large healthcare system in hopes they will investigate and cancel contract with Fitbit after enough complaints. In the meantime i was "generously offered" the gift being able to purchase another Fitbit ! I don't think so! I will my money to Samsung or apple who both have repair capabilities. They may cost a little more but in the long run they are worth it!

That is great to know Because my loyalty as a consumer is not disposable. I typically stick with a good brand with good customer service. If that is how they treat their customers then we can agree to disagree and I and my family/friends/coworkers and anyone else I can warn will find another brand that appreciates us.

Thank you for that information.
I think everyone would be happier if Fitbit just made a more robust fitness watch in the first place - it is quite a costly item for customers to purchase.
Probably doesn’t cost much to make it though.

Same thing happened to my Fitbit and as usual rubbish response from Fitbit. Only 1 month old special Fitbit, very expensive but very cheap support from Fitbit. Suggesting leave it and buy new one.
I'll never buy a Fitbit again and advise my friends and family network.
