How can I replace my Versa screen?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve got my Versa less than 3 weeks ago. It’s working fine but the screen is broken 2 days ago by accident that caused injury as well. I called the Fitbit support and they told me the warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents, which totally understandable. But there is no repair store or anywhere I could replace the screen. It’s ridiculous!

Now how can I repair my watch? There should be a process for this kind of situation. What can I do now?

This is unfair. I am reporting it to Trading Standards. Such an expensive product and no option to repair Smiley Frustrated

I think everyone should report it to trading standards and Watchdog

I cracked my screen and I just have to say I am very disappointed if Fitbit. The fact that Fitbit doesn't have the ability to fix a cracked screen when all other technology is able too. When I was reviewing either to buy the Fitbit or the Apple watch truthfully I chose the Fitbit because it was less expensive than the Apple watch and was waterproof for swimming. Now that my screen is cracked, what are my options, drop another 200 dollars for a new Fitbit Versa?  At least with Apple I can have the screen repaired if needed. I will be buying an Apple watch to replace my broken Fitbit. Sad really because I really liked the Fitbit Versa.

Same here. Very disappointed with Fitbit Versa. Will never buy it again.
I can't understand how a company selling expensive products without a
service centre is allowed to operate in UK?

I did buy a glass screen protector off of Facebook. It covered the scratch
and I have been swimming in my pool and my watch is still working. This
screen protector cover the entire front of the screen, not the sides but
works great for me. Does not change anything with charging. Not a
problem, no need to remove the strap.

I don't know which one I will get but I cannot pay over $200 for a watch
that cannot be fixed.

I purchased those too. I do not think Fitbit themselves sell screen protectors. I got a good pack from amazon. It kept my screen from being scratched! This morning I dropped my watch while attempting to pick it up and the corner, not the corner of screen, but the glass on the side of the screen cracked. Fitbit is not able to help. I'm extremely disappointed because before buying the Versa I debated a long time between this and the Apple Watch. I guess I know now my mistake was to favor Fitbit.

It is sad that the watch is not suitable for its intended purpose. They
advertise it having Gorilla Glass and something is wrong here.

Just to let you know, I have managed to get a replacement Fitbit from them. Was sent out last night.

Did they replace a Fitbit Versa due to having a cracked screen?

Same here, I debated too - keep with the Fitbit or go for the only slightly more expensive Apple series 1.
I stuck with Fitbit but not sure it was a good decision now.
I feel the price of the Versa to me is not a ‘throw away”item if the screen cracks.

I agree this is not a throwaway item but that is the only option for some.  My complaint is that the screen should not have easily cracked.  The watch is not suited for the intended purpose.

No.  Unless you bought the extra warranty.  Scratched and cracked screens are not covered.

I agree totally. I bought a Samsung S watch and it's far better. Not
going back.

Fitbit has never repaired any of its products. They consider them throw away and should be replaced.

I had a screen protector but it hit on the edge where the screen curves and is not protected. If you have a FitBit I would recommend getting a silicon bumper as well as a screen protector.

Did you contact target for that? I bought mine at target and today I completely cracked it.

This morning I just looked down at my versa and noticed a massive crack.. no idea what happened. I swear it was not there last night before bed but who knows.. i also have a screen protector on it. I have no clue what happened.. My screen still works fine but I am so sad. I love my versa and I really wanted to stick with fitbit but my husband wants a samsung watch so I may end up switching over too... 😞
