How can I stop receiving Yahoo emails notifications?-Versa

Alright, so I've read through a handful of posts already and can't figure out how to get these to stop.

I want all of the Fitbit notifications -- low battery, step goals, new badges, friend requests, steps to go -- all that stuff is great.

What I don't want is my wrist vibrating every 10 minutes from my Yahoo app's pointless emails.

Do I need to create a separate e-mail address that gets no e-mail whatsoever and use that as the e-mail tied to my Fitbit? Since my phone is tied to the Fitbit, if I delete my Yahoo app on my phone will that stop the e-mails?

It's my only complaint about the device... unfortunately it's a crazily annoying gigantic complaint that I can't seem to stop.

Update: I turned off all permissions and push notifications on the Yahoo app on my phone, sync'd the device, and no more e-mails on the wrist.
