How do I add more exercises to my Versa?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just set up my Fitbit Versa. The box says 15+ exercise modes. I only see Run, bike, swim, treadmill, weights, interval, workout. I’m a fitness instructor. I would like to get accurate information on the exercise classes I teach and exercises I do on my own. I teach  Body pump, strength yoga, step, stretch yoga, Zumba. First, how can this advertise 15+ modes of exercise I can choose from? Second, am I missing something? Third, can I add exercises to my watch? Fourth, which exercise selection should I choose for the exercises I teach?

@Fitmom46  Yes, you can add/change the Exercise shortcuts that currently reside on your Versa.  Your Versa can hold 7 at a time but there are 20 to choose from.  Using your phone's Fitbit app, touch the little Versa icon in the corner and slide down to Exercise Shortcuts.  There you will see the shortcuts currently installed on your Versa.  To make room, delete one by sliding it to the side and then touch the plus sign (+) to see the list to choose from.  If you grab the hamburger icon (3 horizontal lines) you can reorder the exercises and if you touch on an exercise, you can set up specific settings for that exercise.

For an activity that doesn't have a specific shortcut available, use the shortcut "Workout" and then go into the exercise afterwards and rename. I think this needs to be done from the desktop dashboard as I haven't figured out how to do it with my phone.  You can search for the exercise that you were really doing and the Fitbit app will adjust the calories.  I do this for indoor rowing.

Great! Thank you. What would you recommend for Body Pump, which is a weight training class that works all the muscles in the body in one hour. Step aerobics using a 10-12 inch step, cardio and then finally Zumba?

I would use Workout and then search Body Pump after and recatorigize the exercise.
