I just bought a Versa 2 and unwisely tried to update my watchface with what I thought was a free utility called New Moon. Now, on the device, I see "Please complete the purchase process on kzl.io/newmoon to unlock New Moon" and a five-digit code. I cannot find a way to back out of the purchase and dismiss this message (forever)!. This message is always the first thing I see when the watch displays. Help, please.

I had a similar problem when I didn't realize the clock face was a "pay for use" item. I downloaded 5 free Fitbit clock faces and that removed the annoying message to "go to KZL.IO/code...." that showed up on the watch. It's almost like "ransom ware" for a Fitbit Versa 2 watch. I am surprised that Fitbit has not published a solution to this problem judging by the number of users on the community forum that encounter this problem. "caveat emptor" it appears.

You haven't purchased the watch face, so there is nothing to back out from. This message is simply saying that your trial period is over.
You will want to choose a different face, my suggestion is to use the filter and choose free.

Thanks, Rich. How do I permanently dismiss that message.

I answered that in my last post, now that your trial period is over you have one of two choices.

It's asking for the code and i went to website, it costs money, so I don't want to download it, but it won't let me out of the code to download a new clock

Fitbit has posted the solution.. Your answer is exactly the steps I posted above.
Tap on the offending watch face and replace with the one you want.
As for ransome wear, are you saying that independent, non Fitbit developers do not have the right to request a few cents for their time in developing a watch face?
Not everything in life can be free and these faces are not written by Fitbit employees.

I had the identical problem although not with that particular watch face. I got rid of that message by downloading 5 FITBIT free clock faces. It appears as though there is a finite list and if you keep downloading the FITBIT free ones it pushes the annoying message out of your watch. Hope it works for you.

Or when wanting to change a saved face, tap on that face and pick a replacement.
