How do I change the clock format on my Versa 3 charging screen?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I change the date on the Versa 3 charging screen to reflect my locale, ie: dd/mm and not mm/dd?

Thanks

Hi there, @Nick--B. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums.

Is your phone configured to show dd/mm? Please keep in mind that your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with.

However, if your Versa 3 keeps showing in a wrong clock format, try switching to a clock face that actually shows dd/mm. I have set a few clock faces that only show a different format even when I have set my phone to dd/mm. So, I recommend choosing a different clock face. For more information, see How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Hi @Nick--B - this non US format may not be selectable, I use a European locale and it still shows mm/dd.

But there is a possible work around. If you use the SimpleClockPro clock face it can show you permanently the charge state and when it will be fully charged, so no need to check, but uses the ISO yyyy-mm-dd format, if that is acceptable?

Thanks for your reply, for clarity it is not the clock faces that I am looking at, these all use my phone's locale (UK). Its the screen that shows when you are charging the battery and wake the screen to check charging progress, here is a picture I found online of the screen with the date at the top.

Thanks for your reply, I replied to an earlier comment about the screen - its the charging screen, not the clock faces (which all seem to be showing the date correctly), where I have noticed the issue.

This is quite minor for me as its only when charging but something I was surprised to see.

Thanks @Nick--B - with the different clock face you don't even have to wake the screen and you will know when to take it off charge - but you are right it is odd about the format not following local format on the standard charge screen, thanks for posting.

Fitbit seems to have automatically marked the answer from MarreFitBit as the best answer, unfortunately this answer and the title that has automatically been set for this post are incorrect.

This query is unrelated to the watch faces, the issue relates to the charging screen as shown and discussed in later posts. My watch faces are all correct, its the charging screen that is ignoring the locale.

@Nick--B- you are correct the title is not the original post title and the best answer does not answer your question - I will report the situation.

@Nick--B   As the OP, you can edit your original post and correct the title.  Tap on the three dots in the upper right of you original post.  There is an Edit option in the drop down.  I've done it on my own posts after realizing I misspelled a word.  I recommend making it clear that you are referring to the charge screen and not your chosen clock face.  This isn't the only instance where a moderator clarified the title to the wrong question.

I also unchecked that best answer for you.  In the future, as the OP, you can uncheck an incorrect best answer by tapping on the three dots in the upper right of the post. Not the best answer is one of your choices -- no longer there because I unchecked it.  The moderator chose her own post as the best answer.

Thanks, I've updated the subject, although I felt that the question did clearly refer to the charging screen. Thanks for unchecking the "best answer" for me.
