Hello @Skroot1, welcome to the Community Forums. I'll be glad to help you with your inquiry about changing the language on your Versa 2.

Note that your Fitbit device uses the same language that you use for your Fitbit account. To change it on your Versa 2, do the following:

  1.  the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture.
  2. Tap Advanced Settings Country.
  3. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  4. Choose your country, then sync your device.
  5. Follow the instructions to update your device to use the language you selected.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Thank you.  I have learned how to do it, but I only have one question:  When I change the country and then turn off the automatic do I turn it back on, or leave it off? Also, it seems to switch back and forth from English to French on its own, and also when I charge it.
Thanks

Hey @Skroot1, you're very welcome.

Please note that changing the language on your phone changes the language in the Fitbit app and the Versa 2 uses the same language you use for your Fitbit account. Is your phone in English or French?

If the language keep reverting to English, make sure your phone is also in the language you want. The app will grab the setting from your phone.

I had this issue a few months ago when I bought a Laptop, for some reason the Windows version was only in Spanish and did not let me change it to English, so due to this language configuration my fitbit.com dashboard was using the app in Spanish. So, I went through my browser and the fitbit.com dashboard was the same. When my Windows OS was changed and it was set in multi-language OS, I set the English language option and my fitbit.com dashbard was back in English so was my Versa.

Said so, also review the Fitbit.com dashboard and change the region of your dashboard as follows:

  1. Log in to your fitbit.com dashboard and scroll to the bottom of the page.
  2. In the bottom right next to your current country, click Change to choose a different country. Your fitbit.com dashboard automatically updates to the primary language for the country you select.

Keep in mind that after making changes on your settings you'll need to sync right away to save them. Hope this helps, let me know how it goes.
