It depends on which clock face you have @SunsetRunner
With some of the faces it us us changed through the be clock settings.
With others you go to your settings on Fitbit com
Then click the settings and scroll up to the time

It's great to welcome you @SunsetRunner and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by.
Regarding your inquiry, to change your clock to a 12 or 24 hour clock:
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

on Initial set up I was able to change to military time. The watch on its own reverted back to a 12 hour clock after about woo weeks. Attempted you resolution when I entered advanced settings clock display option is no longer available. Any help would be appreciated.

The Versa app doesn't have the gear icon. Do you know how to change the Versa watch to military time?

Yes I do @NurseShell01 please follow the link in my last post.
The setting is not for your tracker, but for your preference.
Go to Fitbit.com, tap on the setting gear, settings, then scroll up.
It is all explained on the page I linked to. Scroll up to 12/24 hour.

@NurseShell01 I don't know if this is your situation, but when I go to the fitbit.com dashboard, the gear icon at the top right is to the right off the screen so I have to scroll screen right to see it, or else reduce scale of whole screen via Ctrl -

This change is not in the Fitbit app.
You go to https://www. Fitbit.comTap settings Cog
Tap settings
Scroll up
Change clock setting, and force a sync through the app

Sucks. by itself my Versa switched to military time. I have tried to switch itself, but can't get it to work.
first it took forever to find the advanced settings... no one said you had to go to the computer, not your phone, and then finally I found a note that said said it was under "personal".. So I changed it back to 12 hour, but it did NOT change. Very frustrated.

Oh Fitbit lol...you’re trying to compete with arguably the most intelligent company of all time (Apple) but you give people military time on their Fitbit by default and not only can you not change it on your Fitbit NOR the app, but you have to sign in online. All to fix something so simple. People want convenience + user friendly applications. None of your products even sniff Apple. You should kick your developers on this one!

@MAUS1919 do you realize that a person needs to log into fitbit on the web to post in the community?

Is it possible to change between 12 & 24-hour time formats on the app?

No @Kevitron3000 that is why the instructions above say to use the web browser which can be done through the phone.

Here's a good one - I actually *want* military time on my FitBit but have the choice of neither the cog nor clock display time - I don't seem to be able to get 24 hour clock/military time however I try. It comes with 12 hour clock as routine, although I was able to alter my last one to 24 hour after a bit of digging around...

Hi @Timewarper firstly what Fitbit do you have and have you actually followed all the advice given by @Rich_Laue in the previous posts? It is actually pretty simple as @Rich_Laue says, login to your Fitbit account - oh you already are as you're posting/reading in this forum! - click on 'dashboard', then click the cog (top right) and scroll down to 'clock display time' voila!!
