How do I get fireworks when I reach my step goal on Versa 3?

I dont see the fireworks display when I reach the 10000 step goal,  it's a new watch versa 3.. What I have to do?

Hi there @Miri.O.P, thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. I'll be glad to help you with your inquiry about being notified when you reach your step goal. 

As a first approach, I'll suggest you to verify if you've checked the box to be notified when you reach the step goal. To do so, please:

1. Tap the Today tab and tap your profile picture.
2. Tap your device image.
3. Tap Main Goal, and choose your goal.

Then, also make sure you've set your step goal to 10k. To do so, please:

1. Tap the Today tab and tap your profile picture.
2. Find the Goals section, and tap the goal you want to view or adjust.
3. Tap the part of the goal you want to adjust, and follow the on-screen instructions to make your changes.

I might be wrong but I think they've changed it on the Versa 3 I too used to get "fireworks" on my versa 2 but on my versa 3 I get a trainer shoe walking across the screen it still vibrates and congratulates me but I no longer get the "colorful fireworks"

Why would Fitbit get rid of the fireworks? I don’t know about everyone else but I find the fireworks very motivating. Yet another epic fail by Fitbit.

I agree!   I really found the fireworks motivating too!!!  Fitbit!!!!  Please update that and bring it the versa 3.  I've been wondering why I haven't seen fireworks!!

I also agree.  The fireworks was one of the things I really liked about my fitbit.   Since the old one died and I bought a replacement Versa 3,I would say they have made many un-improvements.

I am so disappointed!  One of the reasons my daughter got me a fitbit was for the firework display after reaching a goal.  Imagine my surprise when I worked my butt of to reach the step goal and no fire works!  Seems kinda petty but I was all about getting those fireworks.  Truly disappointed!

I would not say this is resolved in any way.  I want the fireworks!

I am not getting any sort of notification on my fitbit versa 3 for getting double my step goal either. My daily goal has always been 11k. When I hit 22k steps on my charge 3 I would always get another round of fireworks or something for the double step goal and now with this upgrade to versa 3 I get nothing. 

Yes I have the setting turned on in the fitbit app under notifications for step goal milestones but still nothing .

We have discovered that the icons alternate every other day with the colour block icons. The fireworks still show up.

I’m missing the firework display,the trainer just isn’t cutting it! I have the new Fitbit sense,I’m so sad they’ve taken the fireworks away!

I have discovered that the fireworks hasn't disappeared for my Versa 2 watch. It simply alternates every 2 days with the geometric burst. Not what I want but the fireworks does show up.

Once you hit the Today icon, then hit your photo in the upper left hand corner, then scroll down to Main Goals.  Voila!

Nothing to go on for. Just had to swap my ionic for a versa 3.

I think I will be going back to the ionic, despite the safety dangers unless Fitbit sort this feature out.

@dasboot   Fitbit uses different goal displays for different devices.  One model had fireworks, another had a disco ball and so on.  I don't think Fitbit will bring fireworks to the Versa 3.  I am writing this because Fitbit will eventually decommission the Ionic and you will need to make a choice.
