You cannot 'reset' the time of your Fitbit Versa. It syncs with your mobile device to get its time.

The time was set automatically when I first connected my Versa to the Fitbit app on my iPhone. I just checked the Versa manual for all mentions of the word "time", and none of them are related to setting the time any other way.
Are you saying the time on your Versa is currently different than on your connected phone or computer? If so, you could try deleting the Bluetooth link between them and then recreating it.

I was thinking of entirely deleting the existing Bluetooth link, and then recreating it, including entering the code it then gives you. That should force the Versa to refresh all its info rather than just assuming it lost connection for a moment.

I have the clock error message and did just what you were suggesting trying - deleted the app, started and reconnected to "new" - NOTHING HAS CHANGED - still have stupid CLOCK ERROR MESSAGE ;0

My Versa was fine. I went to Hawaii and it automatically reset to Hawaiian time. After I came home to California I could not sync back to California time. My zone says Los Angeles, but my time is still Hawaii. I wanted to change the zone to Hawaii and then back to Los Angeles to see if that would do anything, but I can’t find any Hawaiian cities in the zone list. My iPad and my iPhone automatically synced back to California time, but no matter how many times I manually sync my Versa, it remains in Hawaiian time.

I had the same thing happen. Home state is in Mountain Time zone and I traveled to California. Versa 2 changed as expected to show Pacific time zone. Upon my return home my expectation was that the Versa 2 would return to Mountain Time zone. That did not happen. I have done everything but a hard reset which I don't want to do - a hard reset wipes all my existing data.
Versa/Fitbit Team --- what are your suggestions?

not a problem. Have your smart phone ready. Log into your FIT Bit app on the phone and have your watch near by. My watch automatically set the correct time. . hope this helps. I would imagine if anyone never set it up on their phones it would not work.

It’s been a while but if you go to setting-about-shutdown. Then when you turn it on sync it back to the Fitbit app on your device it should bring it back to the time on your device. This just happened to me.

This helped me sync and retrieve data. It did not reset the time. It is 2 hours and 21 minutes behind.
