Hi there, I’ve gone through the forum most of the morning to try and find out how to link my versa 2 with WhatsApp and all the answers I find are for after the two apps are connected. I need help on how to do the initial link, I know how to enable the notifications once the two are connected but I can’t figure out how to add WhatsApp to the list.

Hi there, @Kath_chesh. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Since you're setting up notifications, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as option in your Fitbit notification's section. For example, tell someone to send a WhatsApp, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected.

As for the text, please note that you can choose 1 app per category. The most common apps for these features are:

  • Calls—Dialer
  • Text messages—Messages
  • Calendar events—Calendar
  • Emails—Gmail

However, for "Text Messages" section you can only select your primary text messaging app (that can be WhatsApp, your phone's default Message app or any other). Nevertheless, in "App Notifications" section you can select more apps, for example if you decided that for your primary text messaging app you want it to be WhatsApp, in App Notifications you can enable Messages app.
