How do I transfer music from my Apple Mac's personal library to my Versa 3?

I don't use spotify or deezer.

I've downloaded the desktop app and it telling me to 'Initiate Transfer Mode' on the watch, but I can't find it on the watch.

TIA

@gjfssmhbhjhrsdg The ability to store music on the new Versa 3 and Sense trackers is limited to Deezer and Pandora - we can no longer download our own music as we could with some earlier models. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2251.htm

Oh, right. so I assume that I have to pay a monthly subscription in order to be able to store my music that I've already paid for, or do these services only allow you to stream or use their music?

If they only stream or use their music, then I assume that I have to carry my phone with me when running so the watch can stay connected. If that is the case, it's pointless having the watch play the music! Might as well stay connected to the phone!!

Basically, I don't want to be forced to pay for a music service. Fitbit have kept very quiet about removing this capability and I find that decietful and disappointing.

Deezer and Pandora do require payment but they also allow you to store music on the fitbit. Details are in that help file. It's not an ideal situation given that some previous models allowed us to store our own music files. I've seen nothing from fitbit that explains why that function was removed.

Thanks for the info folks. It's a shame you can't put your own music on the watch any more. Your thread has saved me time trying to find the Connect app for OSX on the site and from the mistake of buying another FitBit. I resent being funnelled into paying for a technically unnecessary service, especially after the feature was previously present. Late-stage capitalism eh? Whatcha gonna do?
