How do I turn off the led light and the sleep pattern on my watch? I have turn off the heart rate, but the light is still on. Is there anyway to turn the light off for good?

Once you go to the settings on your versa, and turn the heart rate off from there, the light shouldn't blink anymore.
Since this isn't the case, try restarting the versa by pressing the left and bottom right buttons until you see the fitbit logo appearing, then make sure one more time the heart rate setting is off.

Great to see you around @Saga1 and @SunsetRunner thanks for the input.
Regarding your inquiry, as recommended by our friend, you need to turn off the heart rate feature in order to turn off the LED lights. To turn this off you just need to swipe to settings, tap heart rate until you see "Off". Please make sure that this option is also "off" on the Fitbit app. About the sleep, there isn't an option to turn this feature off. The only recommendation here is not wearing your Versa while you are sleeping.
Let me know if you need anything else.

@Saga1 I recall reading somewhere else on these forums that Fitbit support is acknowledging a bug in failing to turn off the LEDs when the heartrate tracking is disabled. There was an update to the Settings app after that, so that might address it. I would check in your Fitbit app on your phone to see if you haven't updated it and see if that helps (open app, tap on Versa icon in upper right, tap on Apps). If it doesn't, don't let moderators gaslight you, this is a bug in the watch that they're going to have to fix.

I'm not sure it's a bug. It says in the manual:
"Note that the green LED on the back of Versa continues to flash even if you turn off heart rate tracking"
from page 41 of https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_versa_en_US.pdf
It may be a strange way to work but it seems to be intentional and not on the list to be "fixed"
If I'm understanding the original question correctly, if sleep tracking is not wanted why not just take the versa off at night?

@SteveH I'm not surprised about that a moderator would report that the light should turn off when it's in the manual that it shouldn't. Fitbit employees know absolutely nothing about their products. That said, a big reason to buy something like a Versa is to have the heartrate function, so I wouldn't turn it off myself. I don't even see it unless I go looking for it, because Versa sits so flat against my wrist.

Solution: Cover the sensor + LED with a small piece of black electrical tape. The LED will no longer be on.

I agree! My skin keeps darkening under my watch...like a suntan under the watch that takes a week or two to go away when I stop wearing the watch. I just don't think the lights can be good for me if they tan my skin like that.
