How do I turn off the Wash your hands reminders?

How can i stop the reminders for washing hands? It just says Done or Clear. I have been in notifications in settings but doesn't have it listed.

Hi @SunsetRunner. Welcome! It's great to see a new face around.

Thanks for the steps tried to turn off those reminders and let's work together on this. Because these reminders are different from your notifications, please give a try to the following:

1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on your profile picture.
2. Tap on your Versa icon > Health & Wellness Reminders.
3. In there you can choose the reminders that you want to receive on your watch.
4. Sync your watch to save the changes.

Good Day, on my Sense I cannot see the H&W tab to control the notifications. Have tried some other solutions/ cache clear force stop and some others to no avail.

Unfortunately your suggestion does not work on my Versa 2.

I have already checked the "Activity & Wellness" area of the app and there is no option to turn off washing hands.

I have the following options to choose from:

7-Day Summery

Daily Activity

Exercise

Menstrual Health

Heart Rate Zones

Nutrition & Weight

Sleep

Which of those is the "Wash Hands" reminder in, as I have looked through all of them and there is no "wash hands" even mentioned.

I agree.  The steps mentioned are not the same screens on my app.

When I start the app, I click on the image icon top left to bring up the list of devices and below that settings.

Activity and Wellness is the closest match;

From there only have:

1. Daily Activity

2. Excercise

3. heart health

4  Nutrition and Weight

5. Sleep

If I select the Versa 2 Icon

6 icons for apps, clock faces etc and below that

Wrist

Notifications:  (nothing in there on hand washing) 

reminder to move

etc...

My hands already drink more alcohol than my lips.  I am about 2 hand washings away from a 12 step programs...I don't need my watch egging me on..

I'm in the same boat with my Charge 3... No Health and Wellness section on the device page or anywhere else within the app.

YES! It's so frustrating. And I wish everyone would stop with their suggestions already. I know you mean well, but I don't have the f****** Health and Wellness tab, so please stop suggesting I go there. I don't have it. My app fails to display it. If that worked for your, great. If that worked for me, I wouldn't be here, because I scoured the app for options to turn this **ahem** off before I came here and...nada.

congratulations to all the people that have that option but given my ability to read what is written, the unwritten is a little more problematic.

Glad to hear I am not crazy (my wife however says it is still up for debate).

I remember seeing the option at some point in the past and turning on the drink water and eat nutritious meal reminders. However, it is too much and now I cannot turn it off!

I did do the recent FitBit OS update and I am wondering if that is why the option has disappeared?

This option does no longer appear after tapping the versa icon. Is there another way to turn these notifications off?

As many others have said, that option is no longer available. I’m using a Versa 2. There are dozens of these notifications every day.
