How do I turn off the Wash your hands reminders?

How can i stop the reminders for washing hands? It just says Done or Clear. I have been in notifications in settings but doesn't have it listed.

It took a couple months of me being persistent but they did eventually manually turn off my drink water reminder. Thankfully I had turned off the wash hands reminder before the tab disappeared.

Thanks for the tip...  I was surprised when told that it is not possible to turn if off.. (they are just computers after all and to who's benefit would it be to leave it on.... thanks again)...

Hi,

I have the same problem but get stuck at step two. When I click on my fitbit icon (a Versa 2), I can't find Health & Wellness Reminders anywhere. I see the tiles (clock faces, apps, media, wallet, how to use, accessories), the sync option, and under General the options: Notifications, reminders to move, main goal, wrist placement, quick- view, Wi-Fi settings, device lock, and exercise shortcuts, but nothing else. Am I in the right screen, or am I doing something wrong?

You're in the right place, for some of us the tab just never materialised
and it seems like they can't fix it - even though it's been ages since this
was introduced. 🙄🤷🏻‍:female_sign:

How crazy - it’s amazing what can be done with the Fitbit

technology but more amazing is why this can’t be resolved. Questioning my next purchase that’s for sure..

Thank you for your response! And that is the dumbest thing I've ever
heard😂. I would've never turned all those reminders on if I knew I could
never turn them off again. Ah well, at least now I can start to resign
myself to that fact. Thanks!

The only solution is to chuck it and get a tracker from a different company.

After pestering them for a couple months they were finally able to turn it off remotely for me! Thank goodness! I still don’t have the option to turn it in/off myself.

How/where did you pester them if I may ask?

I've heard that this approach works and I've been trying myself, but it
seems like the only way to contact them directly is via the Twitter support
chat and it seems like whenever I remind them that the problem persists, I
just get to deal with a new support person who needs me to explain
everything from the top.

Then they always ask me to share all the information I already shared a
million times and send the same stupid screenshot of the missing menu tab.
It always ends with them sharing the same useless advice and once I tell
them that I've tried everything and it - still - didn't work, they
apologise, promise to "escalate" the issue and get back to me once there's
a solution.

...needless to add that they never do...🙄

The option isn’t there for many of us, unfortunately. It’s been an issue for a really long time. They are aware of it, but apparently they don’t have a solution.
