What are your tips and tricks for making the most of your Fitbit Versa? Share them here so new and old users alike can learn new things about Versa's features and functions!

Here are a couple of ours, to get started:

  1. You can rearrange the order of apps on your Versa to see your favorite ones sooner! To do this on your watch, swipe left until you see the app you want to move. Press and hold the app until it increases slightly in size/buzzes. Drag the app to a new location. Voila! Choose your perfect order.
  2. Calibrate your settings for maximum accuracy including stride length and even swimming pool lengths!
  3. This awesome third party app called 'Full Batteryallows you to get Fitbit battery insights on your wrist and get an email notification when your device is 50%, 75% or fully charged. It also records your charging data so you know when to start or stop charging your Fitbit Versa.

How do you make sure you're getting the most out of your Fitbit?

My tip is , if I run or walk , I choose an face where I can see heartrate and steps , then I go run , or walk , or exercise .

without pushing buttons , the versa recognize the run or walk workout , then I free to stop whenever I want for little rest , and continue running , and afterwards I can look on the app how I have done .
even an elliptical training , the versa recognize it very good ,

What I've found is my step total has increased vs Google Fit and my precious Amazfit watch. I'm trying to figure out which watch is wrong or right. I am a walker but now seem to be doing 23K step rather than 16K...

I think , Fitbit is more accurate , but it depends on activity, whit walking I have counted te steps , and Fitbit was accurate, but in day to day wearing , don’t know .

The only time I noticed my Versa recording wrong was when I was chopping
cabbage for coleslaw. I'm a walker so swinging my arms is natural so pretty
sure it's accurate there.

Stay on the Fitbit , it’s better , only thing with garmin that you get is gps , but what has gps to do whit healt tracking . For me gps is gimmick , I don’t need it .

I have , garmin , very old one and new , also polar , but for lifestyle , activities tracking , Fitbit is superior to the two mentioned, also gps use , you can run on tracks , like 400m track and 400 meter repeats , no need of gps for that , also 1km/mile repeats ,

and also garmin or polar gps are not acurate , if I run in the forest 🌳 , the the gps fals away sometime , also if the weather is bad.
but if you think gps has to do with healt , then take gps , but fitbit is above al a healt and activity tracker , not a real running wear , you can run whit Fitbit , but it’s not for athletes, polar for example has the polar flow , that’s analyses for athletes , but a normal person that wants to track his healt and activity 24/24 , Fitbit is way to go ,

After the swim mode how do you get it to stop and go back to the clock mode?

I do the same with my versa, I wish Fitbit would configure their trackers to include biking as steps. Forget to put my on my ankle today, did 10km And was frustrated that km nor steps were recorded.

My Versa 2 has been wonderful especially since the COVID-19 crisis I work on the NHS frontline and although my versa is not a medical device as such it gives me great insight into my general well being especially my sleep habits

I got off to a tricky start with the first versa 2 I brought it completely died after 2 days don't know why but it happens the store I brought it from replaced it and it's worked perfectly I had read a lot of customers having issues with the update but I went ahead anyway had a few minor hiccups but as with any software updates be it Fitbit, phones etc it settled after around 48hrs the update actually improved the performance especially battery life

I actually couldn't wear it for 6 weeks recently as a patient who had COVID-19 grabbed my wrist although I had full PPE he managed to tear the cuff and touched my Versa .. usually I could of had it back after 72 hrs but NHS  has been swamped and rightly so it wasn't regarded as important..got it back last week I had really missed it

I was also impressed with the free 90 day premium trial loved all the extra information and insights so have gladly carried on with premium

Only criticism I have is that the versa 2 HR sensor doesn't work on tattoos (I've found a fix I use sticky dots) I was surprised at this as my Blaze and Ionic worked fine hope Fitbit might consider this problem for future devices

All in all I love my versa 2

I don't get anything out of my Versa other than.  Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, Logo, Blank Screen, etc, etc, etc...   It is annoying. My Versa was a reward from work and it is just a paper weight right now.

Idk. All these negative posts! I love my Versa 2! For those of you who ride stationary bikes either attach it to your shoe or buy a larger wrist band and wear it around your ankle for a step count. Fitbit has a chat feature on their website. I used that feature to set my Versa 2 up. They are extremely helpful. I have never had any of the problems listed here!

I guess I just got a good one. I started out with a Fitbit one with out any problems. Had it for 6 years (using it 7 days a week) Husband bought me a flex 2. Used it for 2 years. No problems. Then last year I treated myself to the Versa 2. No problems either.
