How does one turn off notifications from Fitbit on the Versa 2?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have no recollection of where I went to turn these on, but I get notifications from Fitbit reminding me to drink water, "put my records on", and eat protein for lunch. I'm really tired of seeing the same thing all the time

Ex.:

"We all get a little help from our friends or family. Think about the people in your life (past or present) who you're grateful to be there."

Does anyone know how to disable them?

In the Fitbit App tap your profile picture, then your device and look in Reminders to Move and Health & Wellness Reminders under General. I got kind of tired of seeing the same thing all the time, too.

I can only toggle the Reminder to Move on and off, and choose Start Time, End Time, and Days. I do not have a tab called Health and Wellness reminders

Do you have a premium subscription? I've seen that you get that Health and Wellness reminders if you do. This is a screenshot of mine, I have premium.

Are you on iOS or Android?

I am using iOS. I do not have a Premium subscription, but I'm not sure if I tried the free trial. So, what I read from the other thread is that Fitbit needs to do some backend work?

I've read that Health and wellness reminders are available for premium subscriptions, but if you're getting the notifications, I'd think there has to be a way to turn them off. I'm not 100% sure, I'm just another user trying to help out. But if you did try out the free trial, it would make sense (to me) why you would be getting those, so yes, I'd say it's backend work that needs to be sorted out.

If someone else knows better than me, please do correct me.

I didn't have the trial before because I just started it in an effort to turn off the notifications and I wasn't able to.. so frustrating. Thanks for your help though!

I am also getting these annoying notifications. I remember turning them on awhile back but I cannot find where to turn it off. I feel like they got rid of them but didn’t turn off the ones who were already getting them. I am so irritated and can’t find a solution 😞

Do you have a premium subscription (or had)? I switched from Android to iOS since my last on this, and it still shows the same as the previous screenshot I posted under device > general > health and wellness reminders. I'll keep looking around to see if i find anything new on this, if i find something I'll be sure to post it here !!

ETA: It appears they're still aware of this issue (for those who aren't premium) and currently working on a fix. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Fitbit-Premium-Coach/How-to-disable-health-reminders/td-p/4552895 I've been premium since getting my device last summer, so I can't test it out as a normal user. If anyone else has something to add to this, please feel free! After all, I'm just another part of the community trying to help others out 🙂

I am trying to share screenshots to show you what I can see, but that's not working either! Ha! Maybe I'm better off getting an Apple watch.

I just got moved to “Recovery Runner” and now I can post pics. I think the two are related

Can’t fully see your screenshots :/.  I’m still trying to figure this out for you! I'm still on premium, and have seen others' who previously had it have this issue. I have an inspire 2 as well, and I'll try it on a non-premium account and let you know if i figure out how to turn notifications off.
