Ok... so in another thread I asked how to get firmware updates and the advice was factory reset.
I did try that, andcafter two or three days getting my watch back there was no change to my firmware / OS level.
So I'm not going to factory reset any time soon!
But I would still like to get updated. Now I've read all the advice, so I know about being on wifi, charger, and all day sync on and everything up to date. My internet us good and usually at about 40MBps.
Sonive done all that, but how long would I expect to wait to see an option to update? Because inhale never seen this mythical pink button to date!
Some help would be good, even if it's to tell me to chill and live with the os level I'm on (32.33.1.30)

@Mainframeguy This might not explain it all, but I don't think updates will start when battery is low.

Just wait; updates often get rolled out gradually, perhaps even over weeks, so Fitbit can monitor if there are problems.

I've got the same issue. Stuck on the exact same version as you and all support tells me to do is wait. Will do so for a week or so then I'm gonna try to contact them again if no update appears.

Ok, so this feels weird, but after two weeks trying and a factory reset I seem to have just updated to 32.68.9.15!
From what I read I have jumped to the latest release!
A couple of things to note, there was no pink pop up advising of the update, it was grey.
The other thing was that my battery had go e very low (under 10%) and it was when I put the watch on charge that the pop up came.
So I have two advices from this thread - put your watch on charge at all chances and be patient for up to two weeks. Of course it could be faster, but that's how long it was for me

Lo and behold, it hath arrived! Updated this morning, and so far none of the dreadful battery draining issue has reared it's ugly head. 😊

OK so I should have been clearer. The sequence of events was that my watch dropped so low on battery it only showed the tiny red battery icon. Then I got home and put it on charge. Then about half an hour later the update option appeared in the fitbit app.
I did not check the charge level at that point but would guesstimate around 25%, so maybe that and being on charge are enough to enable updates?
Im going to make a separate thread for this if needed, but I got quite excited when a few calendar notifications and an sms appeared on my watch having never seen them before. Thought it was because of the update. But since then it had reverted to previous and fails to show a single notification of any kind.
At least now I know its not down to the firmware level!
