Will the S10's be added to "compatible" devices regarding phones calls, emails, and messaging?

Hello @Barbvan I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community. It's great to see you too @WendyB, thanks for all your help.

@Barbvan I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your question with us.  Please note that many Android phones, like the Samsung Galaxy S10 have all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but are currently not on our list of supported devicesThis means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. For the time being, we don't have an specific date or time-frame of when is going they will be listed as compatible.

While these devices has all the specifications to be compatible and are currently working with the Fitbit app, it's possible to come across some issues along the way. I appreciate your understanding while we work to improve this experience, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

These are very unsatisfying answers  Not to be rude but it is not like we are asking about some obscure device. This is the flagship phone of the biggest (or second if Huawei has their way) phone manufacturer. Not only that, but they release competing fitness devices. This should be a priority. Not trying to sound elitist but this just makes sense.

Hello @Stephr007 thanks for joining the conversation, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community.

First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in the response. I appreciate you have joined us and for posting your question. Please note that we don't have a specific timeframe for when the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be added to the list of supported devices and it would be irresponsible on my part to provide one.

Please keep an eye on our list of supported devices for future updates. Thanks for your patience and understanding, have a great day.

I've seen this same reply 3 times now in answer to compatibility of the Samsung Galaxy s10+. Isn't there anyone that works for Fitbit answer these questions personally? I had no problems with my S8+ and my versa. I had now problems when I first got the s10+. Something Fitbit did in an update screwed everything up.  So, now you need to find another update that will correct this.

Friends that have iPhone's say they don't have problems when they buy the  latest and greatest phones.  Why do we always have to wait, this testing should be done before the launch.

I am so tired of hearing the no time frame issue, to me it seems like you could at least tell us it normally takes X amount of time for compatibility testing, but I guess that is not an option. I ask you to ask yourself this question, how frustrated would you be if I provided you a service and when asked how long it would take your answer was a consistent well it will get done sometime not sure when.

I am very anxious to being able to use my fitbit versa with my s10 plus and my husband's s10,  are there any updates on when we will be able to do this??  Thanks

I just played with the notifications, but it does not like the messaging app that was preinstalled on the S10, had to download a different app.  See the help topics or call Fitbit, they're very helpful.

I hate being negative or that guy but it really seems they do not care.

I called Fitbit and they walked me through getting my fitbit to work
right. It was the settings in my phone. I suggest to anyone having
problems to call Fitbit, that were great.

Fitbit should be as quick to adaptability to new versions of phones as the new phone versions come out. I have been waiting for the s10 plus to be compatible to versa and still nothing. Patience is a virtue but this is becoming a pain. Thinking of going to the Samsung watch; at least it will work.
