girl.

If it doesn't set up correctly call Fitbit. That's what I had to do
because of the way my settings were in my phone.

I have a Charge 3 and a S10+ I got back when it first came out. I didn't have much issues with mine syncing. Every now and then, but it would usually work. The firmware update from last week though really messed my stuff up completely now. It doesn't sync unless I re-add the Charge 3 (I do this 3 or 4 times a day now). If left un synced too long the time gets messed up, so like when I wake up in the morning the time on my Charge is 10 or 12 minutes late. This is somehow affecting my silent alarms too. They just quit going off. My sleep cycles aren't getting tracked, just "you were asleep during this time. Over the past week my Charge 3 has become just a step counter and heart rate tracker. And apparently there is no way to revert back to the older firmware version. I just don't get why it worked for so long and now it doesn't. I was clearly the update that messed mine up, but they are saying it's because it's not supported.

I'm just seeing these posts from April, and I got my S10 and hooked up my Ionic immediately.  It worked for a while, and now that I've had the S10 for about a month and a half, my Ionic began "losing time" yesterday and today won't be recognized by my Bluetooth.  I've troubleshooted (sic) by restarting the Ionic, restarting my phone, restarting my Bluetooth, and removing my ionic from my app, with no progress.  I'm curious if there's a solution now that we're nearly 6 months down the road or more from s10 coming out.  I'm really disappointed in general, and especially since I'm back to using my Ionic frequently for workouts (I love it and don't want to switch...)

It has been over 6 months and still no compatibility??

It has been over 6 months since your post.  I think it is well past time to make the S10 compatible!. I love my versa 2 but not if I can't use it with my s10!

My Galaxy S10+ worked with my Charge 3 for awhile despite not technically being compatible, but there was a firmware update back in August that basically rendered my Charge 3 an expensive step counter with heart rate that won't sync. The time on the watch isn't even right. I could deal with it not syncing if the watch would work...

Yeah, I also would like to know when my s10 will be compatible. I sure hope it's something that is in the process because this is frustrating as hell. All the issues that I've bdne encountering has honestly made me regret purchasing another fitbit.

I should have spent the money on a galaxy watch, even though I hate Samsung health's platform, it'd probably would have been a better decision to purchase something that is compatible and would have synced and tracked everything accurately.

Thumbs down, fitbit. You've really disappointed me.

If the phone you are using (brand or type does not matter) has Android 9 (PIE) installed, then that's most of the time the reason of syncing/notifications problems on all Fitbit trackers and smartwatches.

Maybe the problem will be solved with Android 10.

I am a 'victim' too with my Samsung Galaxy A40. I have syncing/notification problems with Charge 2 and Charge 3.

I have an old General Mobile GM4 phone (NOT on the list of compatible phones) with Android 7.1.1. Works fine with all Fitbit devices! My wifes iPhone 6 works like a charm with all Fitbit devices too...

@JEG62

The Android version in the Youtube film is not PIE (9). The settings in A9 are different, but I managed to 'translate' the necessary settings to A9. After entering the settings in my Galaxy A40, I tried to connect my tracker to my phone. That worked. I could sync my tracker with my phone. Then I tried some notifications. None of them worked. I could however sync a couple of times, but then it stopped syncing again. After uninstalling the FB app and reinstalling it, the syncing worked but after some time syncing stopped again.

So there is still a big problem with Fitbit stuff and Android 9 phones.

I was able to get mine to connect by first connecting it to bluetooth on my S10 then I went into the app and added the new device.

I considered switching to a Samsung Watch, but I like that I can swim with the Charge 3. I also like the female health part too. Probably the only thing keeping me from switching and those are what mad me go with it in the first place. I have noticed that it will sync once early in the morning when my phone is charging. But that's it. Throughout the day it won't the time messes up and for some reason now I can't even re- add the device at all.
